Oh, that’s Alfie. Don’t mind him. He’s a fae and not of this world. No! Don’t panic, it’s fine. He’s just keeping an eye on things. And avoiding Crash.

Crash – she’s an amazing pilot, don’t let the name fool you – is the woman on the other side of the fire, drinking all the coffee while talking that man’s ear off. He’s Johnny, and those reflective eyes behind him in the darkness belong to Whitby, a dragon. They help to keep the peace. Or that’s what they should be doing.

Aren’t you glad you came?

These are just a handful of the characters who you can read about and are constantly telling me to write more of their stories. Especially Crash.
Thankfully she went quiet when the walls came down and she met Johnny. Although the more they talk, the more worried I get.

Or J E Nice. Yes, that surname is my real name.

I’ve been telling stories, writing and going off on tangents since I was a child. I finished my third, full-length novel in 2016 and decided it might be good enough for others to read. Now, here we are, over 15 books later.
